Coherent Space

A coherent space is a space where everyone agrees to the same protocols, culture, expectations, and where mutual trust is shared amongst inhabitants.

The goal of Fun City is to create as many coherent spaces globally as possible, and ideally, make the entire world a coherent space for humanity to enjoy.

Why coherence matters

In an incoherent space, people spend their energy negotiating: rules, expectations, who gets to decide, who can be trusted. In a coherent space, that energy is freed up to create.

Coherence is the precondition for flourishing.

How coherence is built

• Consensus on protocols and culture — people share the same agreed-upon rules
• Shared mutual trust — that trust is earned through fair design, then maintained through honesty
• Scalable — what works at a village scale is the model for what works at a city, then a country, then a planet
