Overview

Ba Zi, also known as the Four Pillars of Destiny, maps the energetic imprint of a person's birth and understands their path through the interaction of cosmic forces.

Eight characters are derived from the year, month, day, and hour of your birth, made up of four Heavenly Stems and four Earthly Branches. It is a sophisticated system used to diagnose the balance of the Five Elements in your chart and gain insight into natural strengths, imbalances, how you interact with environments, and what restores your energy.

The Components

Year, Month, Day, Hour. Each pillar represents a window into your destiny.

2. Heavenly Stems (10)

Represent Five Elements in Yin/Yang forms (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water).

3. Earthly Branches (12)

Correspond to 12 zodiac animals, each with an element.

4. Elemental Balance & Wu Xing Integration

The Ba Zi chart shows which elements dominate and which are missing or weak. This is your personal Wu Xing.
